A Path Prediction Method using Previous Moving Path and Context Data

In this paper, we propose a path prediction method for users on the move. For prediction, we analyze user`s previous path and additional context data. Most people tend to change their movement pattern that is influenced by people around them. Thus, we define the context data as people around the user data and, analyze it to predict the path of user. The proposed method has two parts. The first part is collecting and managing user`s moving path data and people around the user data. And next part is predicting user`s moving path based on previous path data calculating the similarity of path and context data. We also make a comparative study of existing path prediction method and the proposed method, to verify the usability of our method.
